7. Grounds for refusal

We may refuse access where PAIA requires or permits (e.g., protection of another's privacy, commercially confidential information, legal privilege). Refusals will be in writing with reasons and appeal rights.

If dissatisfied with a decision, you may apply to court within 180 days, or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (contact details in §2).
